The Challenge
Soundwave had built a strong roster of artists but their dated branding made them look like a relic from another era. They needed to feel contemporary and credible while honoring the artistry of physical music formats.
Our Approach
We created a dynamic identity system based on audio waveforms that can be customized for each release while maintaining brand cohesion. Bold typography and a vibrant color system bring energy, while tactile merchandise and vinyl packaging celebrate the physical music experience.
The Result
Artist submissions increased 300% after the rebrand. Vinyl sales and merchandise became a significant revenue stream, with limited edition releases selling out consistently.
